Axis Camera Application Platform (ACAP) is an open framework for developing and running custom applications directly on Axis network devices.
I worked with customers and internal stakeholders to find their specific needs, and designed applications that expanded the capabilities of their existing device ecosystem.

Axis Radar Data Visualizer
I designed an application that merges radar detection with panoramic camera views to provide better situational awareness for large open spaces. Radar data is shown as visual overlays (detected objects and their speed/distance) directly on the camera feed, and triggering actions like alarms or lights.
It’s ideal for parking lots, airports, or public areas. Objects can be detected in bad visual conditions thanks to the radar, for example, in low light and heavy snowfall.

Axis Sensor metrics Dashboard
I designed an application that makes it simple to gather data from connected Axis devices. Both onboard sensors and external sensors. Data storage can also be set up and it supports real time data visualizations.
The dashboard is primarily utilized in onboard and modular surveillance setups, such as in buses or emergency vehicles, where tracking vehicle telematics alongside video footage is critical for safety and operational efficiency.
